Darryl Cotton, most successfully know as one of the foundation members of Aussie rock band Zoot has been diagnosed with liver cancer.
Darryl Cotton, ages 62 checked himself into Melbourne’s Peter MacCullum Hospital after feeling ill last month and after tests was diagnosed with the disease. Details are unknown about his treatment.
Along with Zoot, Cotton wrote music for Engelbert Humperdinck, The New Seekers & The Osmonds. In the mid eighties he moved into TV hosting various shows including Summer Rock in Adelaide and The Early Bird Show on channel 10.
