Will You Vote "YES" Or "NO"
Today, the first of 600,000 ballot papers will be sent out for Australians to vote in the same-sex marriage plebiscite.
The survey will invite the public to answer a “yes” or “no” question: "Should the law be changed to allow same-sex couples to marry?"
Laurel, Gary and Mark spoke to Senator Cory Bernardi from the Australian Conservative Party, who is a firm believer that gay marriage should not be legal since marriage is defined as being between a “man and a woman”.
On the flipside, they also spoke with the current leader of the opposition of the Senate, Penny Wong, an openly gay politician who is for same-sex marriage.
