Take My Seat with Laurel and Robert
On 23 March, Laurel got herself involved in a great initiative of the Spinal Injuries Association with “Take My Seat”.
Laurel experienced for herself first hand, with her helper Robert, the daily challenges of having a permanent disability by spending a morning using a wheelchair and completing a range of everyday tasks such as catching a taxi, ordering a coffee, using an ATM and manually pushing themselves at least 500 metres without stopping.
