Woman Stabbed In Brisbane, Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was found with stab wounds at a south Brisbane intersection.
Police responded to reports of an assault on Monday night and found the injured 26-year-old woman at the intersection of Gemstone Crescent and Gregory St in Acacia Ridge.
She was in a serious condition with stab wounds to her upper body and head and was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, police said.

A man who knew the woman was taken into custody at a Gemstone Crescent address soon after.
The 36-year-old Kingston man has been charged with attempted murder, assault occasioning bodily harm and enter dwelling with intent.
He is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.
