Woman Accused Of Driving At Group In South Brisbane

A woman has been charged after she allegedly drove her car at a group of people in South Brisbane.

It's alleged the car sped up, mounted a kerb and drove at a group of people who were walking on a footpath on Sunday evening before speeding off.

A man in the group was struck by the car and was treated at the scene for minor injuries to his ankle and shoulder. No one else was hurt.

The car was located at an address in Wilsonton later the same night and a 35-year-old Coomera woman was charged with four counts of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.

She is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday.
