Witnesses have described the traumatic scenes that faced theme park goers following the death of four people at Dreamworld on Tuesday.
According to The Courier Mail, six people were on the Thunder River Rapids ride when it capsized on a conveyor belt.
Six people were believed to have been travelling on the ride at the time.
The Gold Coast theme park has since been evacuated, with witnesses revealing the traumatic scenes will stick with them for some time.
Talking to The Courier Mail, one witness told of the scene that faced those watching as the craft came to the end of the ride.
“My sister and niece were on the ride, they are so traumatised, there is a woman hanging by her foot, crushed from the ride,” they said.
Talking to the ABC, another described how children and adults were crying as they ran out the entrance where people were lined up.
"We saw [a] little girl and we believe it was her mum because it was just her and her little sister that was an infant," Lia Capes said.
"I was speaking to one of the guys and he said it was the raft or the boat thing in front of him, the whole thing flipped and everyone was screaming."
Dreamworld said they are working with authorities to establish the facts around the incident.
“Dreamworld’s focus and priority is with the families of those involved in this tragedy,” they said in a statement.
