Veteran Aussie Actress Judith McGrath Dies Aged 70

Australia is mourning the loss of Aussie Soap vet Judith McGrath, who passed away yesterday, aged 70.

The Aussie showbiz vet was best known for her roles as Deputy Governor Colleen Powell in Prisoner  and Von in All Saints.

She was the longest appearing cast mate on the medical drama, appearing in all 12 seasons, which also starred some of Australia’s most talented actors and actresses.

McGrath also appeared in Neighbours, The Flying Doctors, A Country Practice and most recently, Channel 7’s Winners and Losers.

“Her wonderfully dry wit was peerless. Vale is not enough,” entertainment reporter Craig Bennett wrote on Facebook.

Ms McGrath’s management have not yet released an official statement.
