Three QLD Relatives Found Dead in Apparent Suicide Pact
A Gold Coast mother, 78, and her two daughters aged 54 and 53, have allegedly been found dead in their small Ephraim Island unit yesterday.
The husband of one of the daughters made the horrific discovery after returning home from shopping on Tuesday afternoon.
Their actions are thought to be part of a suicide pact inspired by a website, however Police could not confirm such media reports.
According to the Gold Coast Bulletin, the mother had been living with a disabled daughter in the unit for a number of years, while the second daughter and her husband had moved into the adjoining building less than 12 months ago.
All three women were said to have medical issues.
Paramedics were called to the Gold Coast home at 3.30pm but reportedly did not treat any patients, according to a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson.
A detective of the Coomera Crime Investigative Branch said the three women all died in the same way.
