Teen Bashed And Has Car Stolen After Test Drive
A Queensland teenager trying to sell his Subaru has been bashed and had his car stolen by two men as he took them on a test drive.
The pair, believed to be aged in their 20s, allegedly assaulted the teen as they drove around Gympie on Monday before leaving him on the side of the road and driving off.
The 18-year-old suffered minor bruising to his face.
Police have launched an appeal to find the missing blue Subaru. The vehicle has masking tape on the driver’s side of the front bumper and the registration 877WJV.
One assailant is described as Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid-20s, of a medium build with an olive complexion and black hair.
The other is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his late 20s, of a medium build with a dark complexion and black hair.
