Six-Year-Old Among Children Charged Over QLD School Fire
A six-year-old is one of four children arrested by police over a Queensland school fire overnight.
The children, aged six, seven, nine and 11 lit fire to one of the buildings at Cherbourg State School in the state’s south.
Police and emergency services responded to the blaze which left the building with significant damage.
Fortunately, no one was injured by the fire.

The 11-year-old boy has been charged with arson, while the other three children will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
During semester, the primary school has 36 staff and around 170 students.
