Police Release New Footage Of Brisbane Bus Attacker

Footage has been released by the Queensland Police in hopes of tracking down a man who could assist with two separate assaults on Brisbane public transport in recent months.

In the first instance a 40 year old man was assaulted while on a bus in Chermside West as a man exited the vehicle.

The attack occurred on December 9, 2018 at around 7:45pm.

A second attack was caught on CCTV footage on the 12th December 2018, this time involving the same man and an 18 year old woman.

She too was assaulted just as the man exited the bus, causing facial injuries.

"Investigators are asking anyone who uses the bus network in Brisbane’s north and who sees the man, to contact police immediately," the police report states.

"Investigations into the incidents are continuing.

"The new vision starts at 00.35 and shows the man entering Anaconda Everton Park on South Pine Road on January 4."
