Queensland Man Hospitalised After Being Stabbed In The Back
A man is a serious condition in a Gold Coast hospital after he was stabbed in the lower back.
The 22-year-old was found at a vacant property in Surfers Paradise on Wednesday night.

"Officers attended a vacant property on Thornton Street around 10.10pm and located a 22-year-old man who had sustained a stab wound to his lower back," the police report states.
"It is believed he was assaulted by a man known to him who then fled the scene.
"The victim was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition with a non-life threatening injury.
"Police are appealing for anyone with further information regarding the information to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers."
Police believe the victim knows his assailant and are appealing for information.

Meanwhile, a second male has been arrested in Maryborough after allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old in the back twice.
The lacerations were non-life threatening and he was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital.
