Parisians Open Homes To Strangers With Hashtag #PorteOuverte

The terror attacks that have hit Paris has left at least 140 people dead, more injured and many more left stranded.

France was declared in a state of emergency, and France has closed its borders.

Due to the attacks, certain subway lines have been disrupted, leaving many people stranded in the city. But a twitter hashtag has taken off, offering places to stay for people who can't get home.

Using the hashtag #PorteOuverte, which means "Open Door", Parisians are offering their homes as shelter to those who need a safe place.

There are also reports that Parisian taxi drivers are turning off their meters for the night to get people home safely.
