One Of The World's Best Selling Mobile Phones Is Recalled
Samsung is expected to announce a global recall of it’s Galaxy Note 7 phone.
The phone has been known to explode due to fault batteries and catch fire.
The world’s largest smartphone maker will announce the results of an investigation this weekend and its plan to rectify the issue will also be announced, according to news agency Yonhap.
"In response to questions on Galaxy Note7, we are conducting a thorough inspection with our partners.
''We will share the findings as soon as possible, Samsung is fully committed to providing the highest quality products to our consumers." Samsung said.
Australia was one of the first places in the world where the Note 7 was released, with a launch on August 19.
The phone is also available in Canada and its native South Korea, but it has not yet shipped to the United States.
