Man Charged After Ramming Ex's Car Into Power Pole
A man has been charged with stalking his ex-partner after allegedly ramming her car into a power pole and bashing her new boyfriend on a busy Brisbane road.
The woman, 38, was driving with her boyfriend, 27, when they were forced into the pole on Sandgate Road at Boondall just before 10am on Sunday, police said.
The 27-year-old was dragged from the damaged car with the man allegedly assaulting him before passers-by stepped in.
The crash also resulted in 1600 houses in the area losing power after the power pole snapped.

The alleged offender drove away but was later located and arrested by police.
All three were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The man, 41, will appear at Sandgate Magistrates Court on Monday charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, stalking with violence and other offences.
