Kate Middleton To Leave Kids Behind For Overseas Trip
Kate Middleton is set to carry out a solo tour abroad, visiting the Netherlands as part of a whirlwind tour on behalf of the British royal family.
It's the first time the Duchess of Cambridge will represent the monarchy overseas without another member of the royal family; earlier plans for a 2014 engagement in Malta had to be cancelled due to Kate's morning sickness during Princess Charlotte's pregnancy.
The one-day trip, taking place on October 11, will start with an appointment with the Dutch king, Willem-Alexander, at the royal residence of Villa Eikenhorst.

Kate will then complete a number of official engagements at The Hague and Rotterdam, before heading to an exhibition of Dutch Old Masters at the Mauritshuis art museum.
In line with her work with mental health campaign Heads Together, Kate will then host a round-table discussion on behalf of Trimbos, a local research organisation, on the topics of addiction, intervention, family and mental health.
