Can We Expect Snow This Weekend?

We’ve been warned to expect freezing conditions this weekend. Some have even suggested there could be snow in the Sunshine State.

Well the weekend’s almost here and we have a wrap up of what you can expect.

According to Higgins Storm Chasing, the temperature is set to take a plunge early Saturday morning thanks to the super low currently hitting our Southern neighbours.

We’ll continue to freeze (as Queenslanders) on Sunday when morning frost is expected to welcome a very frosty day.

The cold will warm up ever so slightly on Monday according to the Bureau of Meteorology, however we can expect another cold week.

And what about snow? While the temperature is working to our advantage, a lack of moisture is likely to dash our dreams of building a snowman.

However, people living out on the Southern Downs and Granite belt may get to see some sleet.

Lucky devils.
