Brisbane Children's Photographer Facing Child Sex Charges
A Brisbane man is facing a dozens of child sex charges after allegedly using a photography business as a front to procure and abuse children.
It's alleged the 38-year-old ran a Enogerra based photographic studio specialising in "fine art photography" and "artistic dance portraits" of young children and solicited parents via social media.
He was charged with 79 offences after officers from child exploitation and abuse unit Taskforce Argos raided at a Geebung address early on Thursday morning.
The charges include seven counts of rape, 30 counts of carnal knowledge of a child under 16, 26 counts of indecent treatment and one count of making child exploitation material.
Detective Inspector Jon Rouse said the charges came following a "protracted investigation" and that police would allege the man had utilised a purportedly legitimate business as a front to procure and abuse children.
He urged anyone with information that may assist the investigation to call Crime Stoppers or Policelink.
The accused, from Geebung, is expected to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday morning.
