Boys, 13, Armed With Hammer Steal Liquor After Hold Up
Two 13-year-old boys have been charged after they allegedly stole alcohol while armed with a hammer.
Police say the boys entered a liquor store in Surfers Paradise on Wednesday night and threatened a 22-year-old male worker with the hammer before stealing alcohol.

The two boys fled on foot.
The boys were arrested by patrolling police nearby a short time later.
"The boys are from Bethania and Kingston," the police report states.
"No one was physically injured during the alleged robbery."
