Boxer Danny Green Praises Violent Attack Of Woman In Prison
Boxer Danny Green has taken to Facebook to praise a violent attack on a woman who was jailed for her role in the murder of an autistic teenager.
In the tirade, Green called Trudi Lenon a "mutt" who he hoped would "get an infection and die a horrid and slow and obscenely painful death".
Lenon, 44, ws attacked with boiling water at Bandyup Women's Prison on New Years Day and suffered burns to 40 percent of her body.
"My hat is off to whoever carried out this act," Green said in his post. "I'm tired of our putrid constitution forcing the law into the hands of the community."
The Perth woman, and her accomplice Jemma Lilley, 26, lured 18-year-old Asperger's sufferer Aaron Pajich to their home in June 2016, before stabbing him to death.
Both woman have been in prison since November 2017 and police are investigating the inside attack.
At the end of the post, Green wrote: "I'm willing to write what many think".
This is not the first time that the heavyweight champion has opened up in a public forum.
In December, Green spoke out against a man who was given a suspended sentence for a 'coward' punch.
