Baby Girl Passes Away On Beach Near Schoolies Celebrations
Mystery surrounds the death of an infant who was found unresponsive on the beach overnight near Schoolies celebrations at Surfers Paradise.
The unidentified baby girl was reportedly attended to by emergency services at around 12:30am on Monday.

She was found unresponsive on the beach near Staghorn Avenue and the Esplanade, just 750m from Cavill Avenue.
The baby was not discovered by a school leaver.

CPR was performed but they were unable to revive the baby.
The age of the infant has not been disclosed.
"A crime scene has been declared as detectives work to determine the cause of the girl’s death and to confirm the girl’s identity," the police report states.
"There is no further information available at this time."
