DIY Doctor Admits To Removing Man’s Testicle In A Hotel Room
A self-claimed “doctor” accused of cutting off a man’s testicle in a NSW motel room has pleaded guilty to a string of charges.
Police say Allan George Matthews, 57, replied to an online ad asking for a help with a medical issue.
The ad was posted by a 52-year-old man in May.
Matthews responded to the ad and the pair later met at a Port Macquarie motel where Matthews removed the man's left testicle.
However, a week later the victim presented at hospital suffering from difficulties after the bodged operation.
Police have confirmed Matthews is not a qualified doctor.
The DIY doctor faced Port Macquarie local court yesterday, charged with removing tissue from the body of another person without authority or proper consent. He pleaded guilty.
He also admitted to unauthorised possession of a firearm and possession of a restricted substance.
The case continues.
