The ’Bubble Mask’ Will Legitimately Make You Look Crazy
Another week, another gem of a Korean beauty find. The one that’s got our attention right now, are bubble masks.
Basically, you put it on like a normal face mask, and slowly begins to bubble and puff, until a few minutes later, you begin to resemble a puffy elephant.
Reddit users are loving the PANTS off bubble masks, and are uploading hilarious before and afters, showcasing the effects the mask has as it bubbles on and on and on… So, besides looking weird, what do these masks actually do?
Okay soooo I tried one of those bubble masks last night and I'm obsessed! It worked so well!... however, I did learn the hard way not to put it near your nostrils or it will foam up inside your nose and try to smother you. Sure, you'll look like a rock troll from Frozen but it makes your skin feel great! #carbonatedmubbleclaymask #bubblemask #milkypiggy
They’re meant to be amazing for people who suffer from acne, working hard to lift dirt and impurities from the skin.
However, other brands have used this technology to create bubble masks for a variety of skin concerns.
The Bubble Mask Detoxifying & Oxygenating at Sephora has the same bubbly effect and delivers a hit of vitamin E and antioxidants.
The OG bubble mask is Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask, and seems to be available for around $US10.97 at Amazon.
