A Truck That Spilled Skittles Dropped A Crazy Secret Too

Just the other day in a Wisconsin town in the USA a massive rain downpour soaked through a huge box of Skittles, and caused it to break open and spill hundreds of thousands of red Skittles all over the highway.

This all seems pretty normal so far. But the Sheriff's Office sniffed a little further and it turns out that the the load of red Skittles was intended to be delivered to a farm as food for cows. COWS. What?!

Apparently the practice of feeding candy to cows has been going on for decades. Bakeries and sweets manufacturers sell their reject product as animal feed, which is used as a source of cheap carbs and sugar.

Who knew?!
