Italian food & wine Festival FREE ENTRY

Prepare to savour the tastes, sights and sounds of Italy when the 2nd annual Brisbane Italian Street Food and Wine Festival descends on New Farm Park on the 29th May 2016.

Experience a taste of Italy, from fine Italian Street food and Regional Italian wines accompanied by live music. Celebrated in Brisbane since 2007, the Italian Week Festival will once again paint the Town Red, White and Green.

The event organisers are bringing the well-loved Italian food and wine festival to New Farm Park once again to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Italian Week.

The Italian Food and Wine Street festival will sit on the riverfront in beautiful New Farm Park where street vendors will be serving wood fired pizza, pasta and delicious gelato, with Italian wines coming from several regions around Italy.

The Festival’s aims to promote Italian culture in Australia and around the world and highlight the influence of Italian Culture in Australia as a result of immigration and integration.

The Festival will be an opportunity to showcase Italian food, wine and culture and to preserve and promote an appreciation of culture and the heritage of Italy.

“We really want to bring an Italian-style street festival to the Brisbane that gives festival goers a chance to try some real Italian street food.

Our intention is to offer a chance to try things our grandmother’s made.” says Alessandro Sorbello, festival producer.
