Dolly Parton with Katy Perry at CMAs
The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards were held Sunday night in Las Vegas.
Highlights included Australia's very own Keith Urban singing his new single "Wasted Time," surrounded by leaping flames.
Eric Church sang "Record Year," which included snippets of the original recordings of hits by late rock legends David Bowie, The Eagles' Glenn Frey, heavy metal icon Lemmy of Motorhead and Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots.
Katy Perry presented the Tex Ritter Award, which recognizes films that celebrate country music, to Dolly Parton for her TV movie Coat of Many Colors, based on her song of the same name.
Perry also joined Parton for a medley that included the country classic, as well as Dolly's hits "Jolene" and "9 to 5."
