Dreamworld Welcomes Two Newborn Tiger Cubs
Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld is celebrating the birth of two tiger cubs.
The two female cubs were born on January 24 to the park's 14-year-old tiger Nika.
They are the first cubs born at the theme park since 2015 and follows the death of the park's oldest tiger, 19-year-old Rama, from kidney failure less than two months ago.
Neither cub has been named and the pair remain in post-natal care.
Dreamworld general manager of life sciences Al Mucci said both cubs were doing well and gaining about 100g a day.
"They're feeding well and they're growing well," Mr Mucci told News Corp Australia.
"Everything is growing. Their teeth, their claws."
The cubs are unlikely to make a public appearance until later in February.
